Ann Krembs is the PreK through 12th grade librarian at the Academia Cotopaxi in Quito, Ecuador. Previously Ann was the high school librarian at Hong Kong International School.  Before that, she was the elementary librarian at the International School of Beijing for three years. And prior to that, Ann was head librarian at the American School of Bombay in Mumbai, India where she lived with her family for five years.  Her first library position was the middle school librarian at Escuela Campo Alegre in Caracas, Venezuela. She’s eager to answer (and ask!) questions about technology, information literacy, resources, and last but not least, books on her blog, Dear Librarian.

This is Ann’s 25th year of living and teaching internationally!  So far in her life, she’s lived in these countries: USA, Mexico (very briefly), Italy, El Salvador, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, India, China, and now Hong Kong.  Aside from being a world traveler and an always-learning-educator, Ann loves to cook, shop, swim, ski (snow and water), and of course read–all with her family of husband, son, and daughter.
