What is Twitter?

Twitter is a status updater.  Many of us enjoy seeing what our friends are up to in Facebook.  We might learn something new–like they enjoy cooking, or we might find something out–like they understand the math homework assignment, or they want to share their thoughts–like it’s raining in Mumbai right now…the list goes on!

Well, Twitter is only that.  If you have a Twitter account you follow what other people are doing.  So, you could follow friends, colleagues, inspirational individuals, it doesn’t matter.  Anyone you are interested in, you can follow.  In the meantime, others start following you, so you too have to update what you are doing as well.

Many of teachers here at ASB have Twitter accounts–like Mr. Jason Roy or Mr. Dave Stutz, Madam Oanh or your librarian, Ann Krembs.  Of course Mr. Martin Reinsmoen has one too.  You could even follow Mrs. Dianna Pratt in Singapore because she has a Twitter account.  Chances are if you start following someone, they might start following you.

Start up a Twitter account!  It’s a super way to find out what everybody is doing!
