What’s happening next week for Teen Read Week?

Teen Read Week starts on Tuesday, October 15 and will occur on Thursday and Friday, October 17 and 18. Teen Read Week is an event that promotes teens reading at your library. The theme changes each year for Teen Read Week; this year the theme is Seek the Unknown at your library. Aside from a change in the spacey decor, you can expect these activities during the week:

Starship Enterprise crew members will be your librarians for the week;
Room 405 H will be transformed into a Planetarium Study Room;
Room 405 I will show movies all week along with popcorn to accompany the films;
There will be a Seek the Unknown quiz you can play. Best score will receive a prize!
Each day their will be a drawing after you have entered with your favorite sci-fi book;
Sci-fi books on display plus a trailor of sci-fi movies being streamed;
And last but not least, glow sticks will be handed out each day!
